Offering French language classes, promoting French culture and cultural diversity
In order to celebrate the International Day of La Francophonie, the Alliance Française of Brunei Darussalam has opted for a private event with the support of the French Embassy in Brunei. It brought together French language teachers from schools in Brunei and the University of Brunei Darussalam, as well as members and students from Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam.
Participation in the Plume d'Or competition (“Concours de la Plume d’Or”) organized on Wednesday, March 23 made it possible to promote the French language among students, members and subscribers.
Quizzes and facts were shared on AFBD social networks from March 20 to March 31. Each day, a question is asked to raise awareness of the Francophonie, including questions on the French language and cooking.
The International Day of La Francophonie 2022 was celebrated on Saturday March 19 at the Résidence de France in the company of French language teachers from schools in Brunei and the University of Brunei Darussalam, members and students of the Alliance French from Brunei Darussalam.
