Défi Inter AF 2024

Défi Inter-AF

Sign up is now open for the Défi Inter-Alliances!

​

The The Défi Inter-Alliances is an international online competition between Alliances Françaises which allows students to participate in a general culture quiz in French and answer questions about the French and francophone cultures, for the chance to win a selection of prizes. The competition takes place in four stages, with the local competition (Brunei) to be held on 25 April, face-to-face in our premises with a Kahoot quiz.

Ciné Club 18 Avril

Join our monthly Ciné Club on 18th April, Thursday.

We will be screening French Film: The (in)famous Youssef Salem (Youssef Salem a du succès).

English subtitles available.

Free for members. $5 entry fee for non-members.

Cooking Class (Fridays)

French Cooking Class

Our cooking class normally runs once every two weeks on Friday. We also offer private sessions of the cooking class for those interested!

Francophonie 2024

On 15 March, the Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam inaugurated the celebration of La Francophonie with the Semaine de la Francophonie, which ran from the following day, 16 March, to 26 March.

Fête de la musique 2023

On the occasion of “Fête de la musique”, Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam organised the “Fête de la musique 2023 in Brunei Darussalam” on June 16, 17 and 18, 2023.

​

The event was a success because the “Fête de la Musique” music festival had not yet been organised in this format, open to the public, free and involving young local music groups.

On the occasion of the 6th Brunei December Festival, Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam have organised a French Culture and Petanque Day on 11 December at the Petanque Court, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
